  1. Licensing Terms and Scope of Use:
    To encourage broad public use of the website's content, all materials and resources published on the Kaohsiung City Government Environmental Protection Bureau Global Information Website that are subject to copyright protection are provided to the public free of charge, on a non-exclusive and sublicensable basis. Users are permitted to reproduce, adapt, edit, publicly transmit, or otherwise utilize the content across all timeframes and geographical areas to develop various products or services (referred to as value-added derivative works). This authorization is irrevocable, and users are not required to obtain written or other forms of permission from the Bureau. However, proper attribution to the source must be provided when using the content.
  2. Additional Notes:

    (1) This license applies only to materials protected under copyright and does not include other intellectual property rights, including but not limited to patents, trademarks, or the Bureau's official emblem.


    (2) If personal data disclosed voluntarily by individuals or made public by law is to be collected, processed, or used, users must comply with the relevant provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act and implement necessary legal measures accordingly.


    (3) Certain audio/video content, images, musical scores, specially commissioned articles, or other works may be subject to additional usage restrictions as specified by the Bureau, and may require prior consent.

  3. Users must not infringe upon the moral rights of third-party authors, including the right of attribution and the right to prevent inappropriate modifications.
  4. Users must not maliciously alter the materials or their related information. If the information displayed after use is inconsistent with the original content, the user shall bear full civil and criminal liability.
  5. This license does not confer any endorsement, approval, or recommendation by the Bureau regarding the user's value-added derivative works, nor does it grant users the right to represent the Bureau.
